The superstars are headed to Dubai for a concert on December 2
It wasn’t long ago that stories floated about how Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra couldn’t see eye to eye. The two stars had allegedly fallen out and it was said they would never work again. However, their rumoured animosity seems to be a thing of the past. No, they still haven’t signed a film but they are coming together on stage for a rocking concert on UAE’s National Day December 2 at Dubai Festival City.
Titled ‘Ahlan Bollywood’, the concert will topline Salman and Priyanka and will feature other artistes like ace singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sophie Choudry who recently released her album and Zareen Khan who was last seen in ‘Housefull 2.’
Organised by Creative Hub Events, the event promises to be a spectacular Bollywood extravaganza, one that hasn’t been seen in a long time.
Salman’s connect with the audience needs no elaboration. He drives men, women and children crazy but what we will be watching out for is his chemistry on stage with Priyanka who is an excellent performer herself. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, of course, has been a visitor to Dubai several times and is extremely popular with the audiences. Zareen will perform to her hit numbers especially ‘Character Dheela’ and other item songs while Sophie will set the stage on fire with her sensuous moves.
However, the big question is whether Priyanka will perform her international single ‘In My City’. If she does, that would be a first of sorts for Dubai for the actress still hasn’t danced to the number on stage!
