Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts hosting 15 one-hour sessions

picture: Viral Bhayani

What better way to stay fit in summer than dancing? And what better place to learn dancing than at the Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts?

Mark Gulf Events, who brought Davar's workshops to the UAE last year, have announced the launch of Shiamak's popular Summer Funk workshop in Dubai on June 13. There are batches for four to six years old, seven to 11 years old and 12 years and above with classes at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels.

During 15 one-hour sessions you will learn jazz, rap, rock and roll, Afro jazz, Indo jazz and salsa among other dance styles. And all participants will perform on stage at the Summer Funk show on July 18.

Classes will be held at the Marriott Apartments, Deira, Astoria Hotel, Bur Dubai, The Hayya Club, Meadows, Lamcy Plaza, Pharoah's Club at Wafi City and the India Club.

The course fee is Dhs 750. For registration and more information call Mark Gulf Events on 050-7086488 and 050-7141788 or e-mail events.g@gmail.com .
