Kismat Konnection
A romatic film that looks at the role kismet plays in the life of an architect
Shot extensively in Canada and directed by Aziz Mirza, "Kismat Konnection" revolves around Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapur) and the role his kismet plays in his life. A brilliant architect, he finds himself surprisingly out of work for several years after passing out of college. He blames the lack of any positive progress in his life on his kismet, which refuses to favour him.
His search for an answer leads him to Hasina (Juhi Chawla), an oracle. According to her, Raj's life will change for the better, but only after he finds his lucky charm, which he has to hang on to, once it comes his way.
When Raj meets Priya (Vidya Balan), things start going right for him, and he wonders if she is the lucky charm. Will he be able to hang on to her? After all, Priya is engaged.
How Raj deals with Priya and also fights a professional enemy takes the film further.
"Kismat Konnection" is produced by Tips Music Films and is scheduled to release on July 18, 2008.
