‘Barfi!’ is India’s entry to the Oscars
The Ranbir Kapoor starrer has already become a huge hit
'Barfi!' has been nominated as India's entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars this year. The film is a moving tale about a hearing and speech impaired protagonist and an autistic girl.
Directed by Anurag Basu and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles, ‘Barfi!’ has a sensible approach towards differently-abled people.
The movie which released on September 14, was made at a budget of Rs 30 crore. It minted Rs 34.6 crore during the weekend and amassed a total of Rs 58.6 crore over the week.
