A writer has claimed that ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was his script
‘Ek Tha Tiger’ may have made historical profits but looks like it’s time for Yash Raj Films to take the brickbats! A writer, Anand Panda, has lodged a police complaint at the Amboli, Andheri Police station in Mumbai against the makers.
Panda’s claim is that ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was his script and YRF stole it and made a film, without giving him any credit or compensation. It is said that the police have already registered an FIR against producer Aditya Chopra and director Kabir Khan, based on Panda’s complaint. Panda has lodged the complaint via the Film Writers’ Association. Panda claims that he had met the YRF people last year with his script. They turned it down and returned it to him. But he was surprised to see that ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ on screen had many similarities to his script.
Meanwhile, this doesn’t touch Salman Khan’s popularity! Salman and the cast and crew of ‘Dabangg 2’ were shooting in Kanpur when fans gathered, went riotous and resorted to violence when they couldn’t spot Salman! In fact, they were in such a frenzied state that the producers had to summon the police to control them. In turn, the police had to resort to a lathi charging to get the crowd to behave!
