Kareena’s anti-smoking warning
So what happens to her character in ‘Heroine’?
We all know the new diktat of the Indian government about cigarette smoking scenes being allowed only if any character in the film talks about the ills of smoking. So, Madhur Bhandarkar decided to use his heroine’s sexy voice to do the needful, not once but thrice during the film! In Madhur’s film, ‘Heroine’, Kareena Kapoor is apparently shown smoking excessively throughout. So, Madhur decided to shoot a 20 second anti-smoking promo, with Kareena’s voice, which will be shown at the beginning, during the interval and at the end of the movie, to stay away from any controversy. Kareena says she is glad that the new diktat gives relief from the earlier rule which made filmmakers run a scroll on the screen while a smoking scene was on.
The big news is also that the trailer of Aamir Khan’s next big film, ‘Talaash’ will be shown for the first time along with ‘Heroine’. Kareena is thrilled as it is her second film with Aamir after ‘3 Idiots’. “I am a big fan of Aamir Khan,” Kareena said gushing for perhaps the umpteenth time. The girl has always maintained that working with Aamir Khan has been one of her best experiences in Bollywood. Talaash, Reema Kagti’s film already carries great reports and is sure to be another feather in Kareena’s cap.
