Salman prefers Kanpur over Ireland
The actor wants to shoot in India instead of any exotic location
Trust Salman Khan to be different from the rest! While actors are known to select the most exotic locations for their shoots, Salman prefers to go desi. Last time, he had demanded his producers create Morocco in Mumbai for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. But recently he asked his brother Arbaaz to change the shoot location for ‘Dabangg 2’ to be shifted from Ireland as had been originally planned to Kanpur and Lucknow ostensibly due to damp weather in Europe! For the climax, Salman has chosen Satara, Maharashtra.
A leading daily reports that Salman would travel to Lucknow and Kanpur in the second week of September. In fact, Arbaaz and his team have just returned from UP where they applied for permissions to shoot in both cities. Apparently, Salman is very clear that he doesn't want to cause any inconvenience in the area.
The Ireland schedule hasn’t been completely shifted and chances are that the actor will shoot for the song in October. Interestingly, Salman had earlier recreated Kanpur city in Kamalistan studios. He had even shot for 15 days there. And now, he will be shooting on real location. After returning to Mumbai, he will shoot the climax in Satara.
Reports suggest that after Salman's visit to Ireland for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ there was a healthy spike in the tourism there. Perhaps by the time he finishes shooting for ‘Dabangg 2’, Satara and Lucknow would end up being the next hotspot!
