Mallika’s Paris sojourn with Antonio Banderas

Mallika Sherwat has proved that she is unabashed about people’s sentiments or what the world thinks about her. Much had been written about her impending Paris vacation with Hollywood star Antonio Banderas whom she was caught dancing with at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. While people wondered if she would actually make that trip considering the trouble her association with him brought on his marriage to actress Melanie Griffith, it appears she finally did go on that holiday.

As reported earlier, Antonio was the one who apparently invited Mallika on a ‘private’ vacation in Paris. She was scheduled to be in LA to sign yet another Hollywood film when she decided to take a detour and spend some ‘quality time’ with Banderas in Paris. The two tried to keep it hush-hush but knowing Mallika, she wouldn’t want people not to know that she was spending time with Banderas! While Melanie is said to be sick with worry over her husband’s dalliance with another woman, it seems Mallika couldn’t care less about who gets hurt in the deal since she gets to be associated with a Hollywood star.

A source muses, “If a married man invites you on a holiday, the most decent thing to do would be to turn a deaf ear because no one would want to be party to deliberately breaking someone’s marriage. By accepting Banderas’ offer, Mallika has shown that she doesn’t care how she comes across in that relationship as long as she gets talked about.”
