Katrina signs record endorsement deal

While Kareena Kapoor is making tall claims that no one can fill her shoes, it’s Katrina Kaif who’s quietly running away with the deals! She recently took home a fat pay cheque for a paint brand endorsement. How fat one might ask? Well INR 7 crores is the reported amount!

This takes the actress right up to the top and she has dislodged Kareena to become the highest paid female brand ambassador. Kareena’s big amount was INR 5 crores for a cola brand. A quick count also totals her number of endorsements to 12 right now which is pretty staggering!
Incidentally, this is the same brand of paint endorsed by Shah Rukh Khan and has come at the right time for Kat. Not only does it coincide with her Ek Tha Tiger release, it also stretches to her Yash Raj release with Shah Rukh!

Besides, she’s also the envy of drooling heroines right now since Salman has taken up his role of protector in her life once again and everyone knows his clout in the industry. There are very few actresses about whom he has said this: “Despite everything that’s coming Katrina’s way, she still remains unaffected by it. It’s nice of her to agree to item numbers or smaller appearances in films for friends...”

With so much going for her, is it any wonder that she has zoomed right to the top?
