Kareena-Amrita clash avoided

Tension loomed large in the air last weekend at Yash Raj studios with the potential of an explosive clash! Actress Amrita Singh, the ex-Mrs Saif Ali Khan Khan walked into YRF studios for a shoot. She was doing a look test for Aurangzeb, a Yash Raj production directed by Atul Sabharwal starring Arjun Kapoor in a double role. The look test was key for Amrita (fondly called Dingy) since she plays an important in the film.

But apparently, as she headed for her make-up room, she spotted the name Kareena Kapoor on the door of the opposite make-up room! Dingy reportedly turned around and headed in another direction. Minutes later, the walkie-talkies went berserk and staff scurried about to shift Dingy’s make-up room to another floor altogether! The nameplate: ‘Amrita Singh, look test for Aurangzeb’, was hastily removed as well.

She then worked peacefully from another floor. But Dingy insists, “I am not a newcomer to run away from such things… We are all professionals and I went to the make-up room that was assigned to me.”

Whatever the truth, fact is, Dingy can never accept another woman in Saif’s life, even though she now declines from commenting on this! He can continue to scream from the rooftops that all is well between ex, present and kids but that’s far from the truth.
