Vivek Oberoi’s dilemma

‘When it rains it pours’ – perhaps that would be the apt expression for Vivek Oberoi’s career right now! But is that necessarily a good thing is the big question! The actor has big projects like Sher, Krrish 2, Zilla Ghaziabad in his kitty apart from two more films Jayantabhai Ki Love Story and Kismat Love Paisa Dill. While any actor would be happy to have a platter full of film, Vivek is suffering from sleepless nights.

There appears to be a big box-office clash between the makers of the last two mentioned films with neither willing to bend! Amit Chandraa, the man behind Kismat Love Paisa Dill and Kumar Taurani, the producer of Jayantabhai Ki Love Story both want to release their films on October 5.

Amit Chandraa says, “Kumarji is not ready to listen. If both our films release on the same date, it will confuse the audiences as both star Vivek. I want Kumarji to start his promotions only after October 5. Kumarji should understand that our business will also be affected.”
Vivek playing ping pong between the two makers hasn’t helped either. Kumar Taurani clarifies, “Vivek called me to say that I should ‘understand’ and move from the date. But I told him that Amit can also ‘understand’.” Taurani says he started his promotions first anyway so he wants to stick to his release date!
