Vivek’s sleeping shot
He took 30 retakes to get one shot right!
Vivek Oberoi seems to have more on his plate than he can chew. Recently, on the sets of one of his films Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story, he took 30 retakes in a span of two hours to deliver one shot! The catch is: he finally managed to give the perfect shot in his sleep!
Vivek certainly isn’t a bad actor who’d require 30 retakes to get an expression right. But crew members say he’s been working himself to the bone on three films simultaneously and we guess that’s doing him no good! When he finally got tired of trying to get his expression right he fell fast asleep on the sets of Jayanta…! That’s when the crafty director got his perfect shot! The expression in this case had to be a relaxed one, in a bed. But Vivek thanks to his hectic schedules was too keyed up to look relaxed!
When he woke up, he was surprised to see the shot he had long struggled to deliver, turn out to be so perfect. The director too heaved a sigh of relief when the day’s shooting was called for a wrap and everybody got to go home. All because Vivek decided to catch 40 winks while the camera was still rolling!
