Saif to work with Natalie Portman
The nawab will be paired alongside the Oscar-winner
Saif Ali Khan is in high spirits since 'Cocktail' redeemed him at the box-office, after the failure of his debut home production 'Agent Vinod'. And now he’s aiming even higher since his next movie is with none other than multi-talented Oscar winner Natalie Portman!
Saif let it slip in an Indian daily that he has roped in Natalie for his next project, a love story. But he hasn’t made it clear whether it this is an Indo-American venture or just a pure Bollywood film. Whatever be the case, if and when this project materialises, Saif will join the big league of actors who have had a brush with Hollywood celebrities.
A friend analyses, “While he is one of the top Khans of the industry, he is still behind the big three -- Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh. If his project with Natalie Portman takes off, Saif will rub shoulders with the likes of Irrfan, Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.”
In another take on the subject, a catty Bollywood heroine smirks that perhaps this is Saif’s answer to Kareena postponing the wedding to focus on her career. After all, it is Natalie Portman! Will that be a cause for Bebo to sit up and take note?
