The director is fuming about a spoof of his film 'Devdas'
Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Sanjay Leela Bhansali may need to head for the mountains, meditate and learn to breathe. The latest development that seems to have angered him is a spoof of his film 'Devdas' in the Tusshar Kapoor-Ritesh Deshmukh starrer 'Kya Super Kool Hai Hum'! And what is aggravating him even more is that Ektaa Kapoor (his on-off arch nemesis) gave the go ahead on this.
The scene in question involves Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma (the leading ladies), dressed as Paro and Chandramukhi from SLB’s film. It is a humorous scene being sported in the film’s promotional trailers as well. This hasn’t gone down the right way with Bansali, who has taken offence at spoofs on his films by other filmmakers in the past too.
An insider laments, “SLB needs to calm down. He can’t go fuming after filmmakers like this because this is not the first time his film has been made fun of and it won’t be the last. Perhaps he should take a lesson from humorous rival Karan Johar, whose 'Dostana' scene is also being spoofed in 'Kyaa Super Kool…!'”
