Abhishek Bachchan scoffs at people who say Araadhya brought him luck
While Abhishek is thrilled with the success of 'Bol Bachchan', he’s definitely not pleased about people bringing baby Araadhya into it! She’s being attributed as the luck factor that contributes to this career turn after a string of flops.
AB Junior says, “It’s unfair to put that kind of pressure on her! My daughter is separate from my profession and I can’t blame her for my success or failure. She’s given Ash and me immense pride and happiness and that’s what makes me happy.” He says that family and friends vote Araadhya as the perfect mix of Ash and him.
The cloak and dagger stuff about keeping her away from the public eye also upsets Abhi. He definitely doesn’t like the words ‘hiding’ and ‘shielding’ being used for Araadhya. “These words are so generously used… My daughter is not an object to flash around or a prized item to put on display. She’s a small baby!”
The father in him insists that Araadhya will have a normal upbringing just like he did. “I didn’t realise dad was a star till in my teens. We were not aware of mom or dad’s celebrity status – mom ensured that.”
