Asin boycotts 'Bol Bachchan' event
The actress' no-show brought up a lot of questions
When a huge film like 'Bol Bachchan' premieres and a big heroine like Asin doesn’t turn up, questions are bound to be asked especially when the entire unit attended the premiere at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai.
Her spokesperson said that Asin was stuck at home with fever. And that she was forced to stay home and miss the event. But nobody seems to be buying that. Three hotter theories are floating about Bollywood:
1: Her male co-stars – Abhishek and Ajay – were hogging the release limelight and she didn’t want to go unnoticed.
2: She definitely didn’t want to bump into Anurag Basu, whose promos of 'Barfi' were airing with 'Bol Bachchan'. Asin was the first person Anurag had approached for 'Barfi' – offering her a choice of either Priyanka Chopra’s or Ileana’s roles. But she skipped the commitment and chose Rohit Shetty’s 'Bol Bachchan' instead!
3: Just about at the release time of 'Bol Bachchan', ex-boyfriend Neil Nitin Mukesh came up with a shocking interview! He said current girlfriend Sonal Chauhan understands him “unlike in my last relationship (read Asin) where I was made to feel like s---!”
With the whole of the media present at the 'Bol Bachchan' premiere, perhaps Asin didn’t want to face embarrassing questions!
