Dad is fine, says Sonakshi

Two days ago there was a flurry of activity as Poonam Sinha and her sons Luv and Kush rushed Shatrughan Sinha to hospital. The actor had complained of breathlessness and daughter Sonakshi who was shooting in Malwani, also rushed back home to be by his side. But apparently reports that he was in the ICU are totally false according to his daughter. He should be discharged soon.

Shatru only had an allergic reaction to the painting which is going on in the Sinha household. Their bungalow has been converted into a seven-story building, of which the finishing touches are currently being put. But having been treated in the emergency unit of the hospital, Shatru is now well on his way to recovery. “His additional stay of a day was only at the doctors’ insistence so that he remained under observation,” says a family friend.

In fact, as soon as Sonakshi was reassured that her dad was stable, she drove back to her shoot. Rather upset about the reports of her dad’s ‘serious condition’, she tweeted to stop rumours from spreading: “Making mountains out of molehills (‘baat ka batangadh’) about someone’s health is NOT cool. My father is hale and hearty and waiting for me at HOME and not in the ICU as some people are claiming on TV right now. Thanks for the concern, but pls... KHAMOSH!!”
