Bebe’s summer 2012 collection

Bebe, the hot choice for fashionistas, have launched a stunning new collection for this summer.

The collection features exotic and contemporary couture inspiration including asymmetry, soft draping, back cutouts and luxe quilting. Key colours include coral and turquoise, with abstract tropical motifs in ice-cream pastels, poppy red and rich purple as well as black and white with unconventional graphic stripes. Key silhouettes range from airy, unique tops to daring one-shoulder dresses and tailored, career-oriented blazers and pencil skirts. Cargo shorts and cropped pants nod to the urban safari trend, and denim takes an ’80s turn with ultra-skinny silhouettes and acid washes in a bright, playful palette.

The main highlights include silken utility rompers as well as evening dresses with figure-sculpting paneling and intricate trapunto quilting. Peep-toe pumps, strappy sandals and wedges are sky high and command attention in patent leather, chevron patterns and more standout finishes. Handbags range from woven totes and clutches to quilted and chain-trimmed satchels are also amongst the collection for Dubai’s stylistas.
