Suniel Shetty’s daughter to enter Bollywood

Bollywood, get ready for yet another star kid to make her debut. This time it is muscleman Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya – fresh out of the New York Film Academy – who is all set to follow in her dad’s footsteps. Suniel says, “We are in talks with producers, since we have a plan for her. It’s too early to say anything else.”

Since Athiya has a mind of her own, the doting dad, source say, won’t stop her from being part of Bollywood. In fact, he didn’t even question her on why she wants to be a part of the same fraternity. He knows she’s in safe hands, considering all the goodwill and the longstanding relationships Suniel has formed over the years. But competition is something Athiya has to learn to handle on her own and her dad’s concern is: “The only thing I ask her is whether she will be able handle failure. That’s the only fear. If she doesn’t succeed, is she strong enough to handle the brickbats?”

Till we hear more news of Athiya, here’s what Suniel’s shooting for: 'Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai,' where he plays a struggling film director. He hopes the film will be an eye-opener for Athiya, since it’s based on the intricacies of the industry!
