The summer brunch at MAHEC (Modern Authentic Hindustani Evolved Cuisine) pulls out all stops to give you a truly desi dining experience. You'll be offered the cool bounty of the lassi and thandai counters (from rose and jaljeera lassi to pineapple and saffron thandai) in kulhars, adding just that extra touch of home to make a meal more memorable.

Savour the best of streetfood at the chaat counters – we loved the sev papdi chaat and dahi aloo puri.

For something with more meat, move on to the live grills. This is where you'll find herb-marinated chicken tikka and barbequed lamb chops. For the vegetarians, there's also achari paneer, gobi and peppers.

The main course menu has butter chicken (we're fans even though it's not easy to work off those calories), dal makhani, paneer jalfrezi, jeera pulao as well as raita, naans, rotis, papads, pickles and chutneys.

Finish off on a sweet note with rasmalai and kulfi!
