Neha Dhupia has reasons to smile. The former Miss India recently announced that she was going to share screen space with B’wood’s bad boy Emraan Hashmi for Karan Johar’s next project to be directed by Rensil D'Silva. Though she refused to share more details, she was excited about this film as well as her upcoming two movies, ‘Maximum’ and ‘Rush.’
It is indeed a big break for Neha who started with a bang with hits like 'Julie' and 'Qayamat' and then went into alternate, middle-of-the-road cinema while doing bit roles in big ventures.
Karan Johar, on his part said that the film had a strong ensemble cast including Emraan Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut and Randeep Hooda though the title was yet to be decided. The film is likely to go on the floors later this year.
Besides KJo's film, Neha will be seen in Kabeer Kaushik's crime thriller, ‘Maximum' which features veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, Sonu Sood and Vinay Pathak and will hit theatres on June 29, 2012.
Her other venture ‘Rush’ is also a thriller and stars Emraan Hashmi and Aditya Pancholi. The film is currently being directed by Priyanka Desai, who took over the project after the demise of her husband Shamin Desai.
Well, we are thrilled about Neha’s good fortune but we are wondering if a special appearance at Karan Johar’s 40th birthday bash had anything to do with it.
