Is Shahid taking revenge on Anil Kapoor?
The actor made some unwarranted public remarks on the veteran star
But Shahid (Sasha) Kapoor took it upon himself to make Anil the target of his jokes on stage. While he did a 'Vicky Donor' spoof, Sasha kept pointing at a chair with Anil’s name pasted on and taking pot shots at the actor. He pointedly referred to the absence of ‘Mr India’ and the audience wondered why Sasha was getting so vicious.
His digs continued through the evening, and it was obvious that some kind of venom involving Anil had bugged Sasha. People in the know insist it’s because of the 'Mausam' fiasco. When Sonam starred with Sasha in the film, she apparently had played tough with him. This led to a delay in the shooting and caused Pankaj Kapoor a lot of difficulty. Whatever problems he might have faced, it’s not in good taste to use a public platform to get back at Anil.”
Boney and Sridevi Kapoor, seated in the audience, looked visibly uncomfortable with Sasha prattling on.
