He will be shooting for YRF’s untitled film in London when IIFA takes place in Singapore
Shah Rukh Khan
It looks like IIFA 2012 will be disappointing for Shah Rukh Khan’s fans as the actor, who is also the brand ambassador of IIFA, is said to give the event a miss this year.
Apparently the date of the ceremony which will be held in Singapore will clash with SRK’s shooting dates of his forthcoming project helmed by veteran Yash Chopra. A spokesperson of King Khan revealed to the media that the rumours about SRK and his family’s outing for the big event were misleading for SRK’s fans since the actor was going to be in London shooting for Yash Chopra’s untitled film.
The 46-year-old actor will apparently leave to London shortly and will be joined by his co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. YRF’s highly anticipated untitled film is taking shape in London and is an all out love story.
This news about Shah Rukh’s absence from IIFA has set many tongues wagging especially since it was announced that Salman Khan would be a part of the awards function and a face-off between the two arch rivals was expected.
Well, after being censured for his recent outburst at IPL, it seems SRK thinks it's better to be safe than sorry.
