This swanky and stylish European cuisine hotspot spread across three floors of the Grosvenor House offering spectacular views of the city is not to be missed! Decked in reds, blacks, whites and funky art work smattered across the dining room, this high-end restaurant certainly makes a great first impression.

The menu is fab – no fuss and offers something to satisfy every palate. That being said, my friend and I got straight to it. We decided to whet our appetite with the prawn cocktail which is beautifully served with avocado and lettuce, the burrata cheese served with caramelised plum and artichoke salad accompanied with cherry tomato, mint and basil and the seared beef onglet placed on top
of a mixed crunchy vegetable salad, mustard leaves and caper berry tempura – divine and highly recommended!

After a bit of a breather, we decided to dive into our mains. Everything looked so lip-smacking good that we had to ask our server, Chandru, (who was so helpful) assist in making a decision! I ordered the beef rossini style which came with pan fried foie gras, hand cut chips and a truffle sauce served on a bed of wilted spinach. I have to say, this is one of the best beef rossinis I have had in Dubai. It was truly bursting with flavour. My friend went with the grilled lamb loin and black olives jus served with baked aubergine, marinated goat’s cheese with aromatic herbs. She too couldn’t stop raving about it!

No meal is ever complete without dessert and though we could barely move after everything we had eaten, we were determined to try out the mouth-watering eton mess which was a decadent mix of crunchy meringue, fresh juicy strawberries and dreamy whipped cream. The blackberry crumble and apple tatain were also equally delectable but the eton mess definitely hit the spot for me. I would definitely head back with some of my gal pals for a night out. After all there is a swish club and lounge at Embassy that is worth exploring as well!
