Rakhi Sawant: 'Aamir has copied my show'
The item girl feels ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is similar to her talk show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’
In an interview recently, Rakhi stated that Aamir’s latest show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ which threw light on the issue of female foeticide in its first episode was a complete rip-off of her own talk show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ which has been embroiled in a court case because of its controversial content.
Rakhi pointed out that she had nothing against Aamir but was sad that when the superstar starred in a reality talk show he was applauded for his social work but when she got involved in something similar she was censured!
The item girl revealed that she was happy to have started a trend which won great favour with the audiences and now she was ready to come up with a sequel to the show.
Incidentally, Rakhi isn't the only person trying to gain mileage out of 'Satyamev Jayate'. Another man too is rather upset with the show's alleged plagiarism. Lead singer of the band Euphoria, Palash Sen disclosed that the tune of the anthem of Aamir's show had been copied from the band’s decade old song also titled ‘Satyamev Jayate.’
While the verdict is still out on who is guilty and who is not, one thing is sure: all controversies will only result in greater TRPs for the show!
