The actor feels let down because of ‘Tezz’s poor showing at the BO
When this year’s highly anticipated action thriller ‘Tezz’ bombed at the BO it strained the friendship between the movie’s star Ajay Devgn and the director Priyadarshan.
According to a source, Priyan apologised to Ajay as soon as it was learnt that the movie was a dud but Ajay remained unmoved by the sentiment. The 43-year-old felt completely let down and decided that he would no longer work with the south Indian director again.
Ajay’s reaction was perhaps justified considering the final version of the film was apparently completely different from what had been narrated to the actor by Priyan before the shooting ommenced. Thus, keeping in mind that ‘Tezz’ was marketed as Ajay Devgn’s film, the 'Singham' star felt ashamed and embarrassed by the film’s disappointing performance at the BO.
Nevertheless, this isn’t the first time that Ajay and Priyan’s venture has gone wrong. Their previous fim ‘Aakrosh’ also proved to be a disaster at BO. It is believed that Ajay didn’t seem to mind the outcome back then because the film had a very good script and the final version stayed true to the narration.
Well, we all know that when things go wrong everyone likes playing the blame game so this news hasn’t caught us off-guard.
