Vidya Balan’s new admirer
Does beau Siddharth Roy Kapur have reason to worry?
Sources say that the usually composed Shashi Tharoor seemed visibly excited about being in Vidya's company. The two were seen laughing and chatting away for most of the little time that the actress spent at the event.
When Vidya tried to speak in Malayalam while on stage, Shashi was seen cheering her on. The actress, however, admitted that though she was a Malayali, it was tough to speak the language as she was brought up outside Kerala.
Before Vidya left the venue, Shashi even requested a photographer to click a picture of him with Vidya on his personal phone. Shashi also shared his happiness with his followers on a social network site when he said he was 'sitting with the actress', while at the do. "They hit it off well. They spent most of their time chatting with each other. They also exchanged phone numbers," says the source who was at the event.
