Aamir gears up for TV debut
The star says he is feeling nervous about how his show will be received
Aamir also talked about his favourite TV programme. "I remember there was one programme which we used to watch with enthusiasm. It's Kiran (Rao) and my favourite TV show. But it isn’t aired these days - 'Takeshi's Castle.' Javed Jaffrey's comments used to make it very funny," said Aamir.
Meanwhile, Anas Rashid who plays the male lead, Sooraj in Star Plus’ ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’ was thrilled to meet Aamir on the sets of his show. While both the actors were having an intensive conversation Anas confessed to Aamir that he was not his fan but more like a follower!
Later, when Anas began his first shot with Aamir, he touched his feet and said that he was the ultimate actor. Aamir, naturally was overwhelmed with the gesture.
'Satyamev Jayate' would go on air simultaneously on DD National and Star Plus on May 6, 2012. Aamir will appear on Diya aur Baati Hum on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 9 pm.
