‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ set for a June release
Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra also held a special screening of the film for Big B
Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next film after the super-successful ‘3 Idiots’, the Sharman Joshi-starrer ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ will release on June 15, 2012. Eros International Media, which has acquired the worldwide distribution rights of the film, directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, has decided to release it in June.
Meanwhile, Vidhu Vinod Chopra invited his good friend Amitabh Bachchan to view his film and apparently, the megastar loved it. Chopra told reporters, "Mr Bachchan saw the rough cut and loved it. It took us four years to write ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’. When we could've worked with any of the big stars after ‘3 Idiots’, we chose to work with Sharman Joshi. We're very proud of ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’. It will be one of the biggest in the history of Indian cinema. You can put that on record. But that's not why we made it."
‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’, a heartwarming film about a young father’s endeavor to fulfill the dream of his talented ten-year-old son, is Vinod Chopra Films’ first release after ‘3 idiots’. It has dialogues by Rajkumar Hirani and stars Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Ritwik Sahore with a song appearance by Vidya Balan.
