Akshay Kumar may seem like a daredevil when it comes to performing death-defying stunts all by himself for his movies but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t worry about his safety.
Reports say that the makers of his upcoming movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ let the ‘Khiladi’ perform the dangerous action scenes for the movie only after he agreed to insure himself.
An insider revealed that everyone on the sets of the film was worried that the 44-year-old actor could seriously injure himself performing scores of raw, potentially fatal action scenes. And thus, knowing Akshay’s penchant for doing stunts scenes on his own, without the use of a stuntman or body double, the makers of ‘Rowdy Rathore’ sought to get Akshay insured. Still, the most shocking revelation was that as a precautionary measure the makers insured the actor for approximately Dhs3,50,000.
Good protection, we must say!
