Kunal Kohli wants the exes to revive their chemistry for ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’
It's tough to work with your ex, however professional you claim to be. But when it comes to faking chemistry and love in front of the camera, our stars don't have much of a choice but to do what the script demands. Ask Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor, the two former lovers, who are now working together in Kunal Kohli's 'Teri Meri Kahaani'.
According to a source, Kunal expects PC and Shahid to set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry for ‘Teri Meri Kahaani.’ Apparently, Kunal was bowled over by their performance in the 2009 release ‘Kaminey’ and wanted their romance in his film to be just as intense, if not more.
On his part, Kunal seemed to justify his position. The director believes in 'Kaminey’ the alleged couple had only eight scenes together but in TMK they had to work together for 78 scenes so the challenge was a notch bigger. With Yash Chopra being his idol, he wants to recreate the same magic of romance his film and doesn't want to compromise on the same.
However, that seems easier said than done. Shahid and Priyanka were once neighbours during their dating period. But now it has been learnt that Shahid is ready to move away from the area and is looking for a flat in upmarket Bandra. The couple has also moved on in their personal life with Shahid allegedly finding love in Nargis Fakhri while PC has been busy warding off rumours of her closeness with Shah Rukh Khan. So we will have to wait and watch if this former couple can pull this one off for the reels!
