Bollywood made a fashionable splash at the Dubai World Cup 2012 when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan joined the Jaguar Style Stakes to present an award, and there was lots of cheering from the audience as the superstar took to the stage.
Dressed in a traditional salwar kameez, red in colour and in her preferred A-line cut, Ash made for a pretty picture as always. And though she hadn't lost all the post-baby weight, she still looked stunning.
At the Style Stakes, Aishwarya, a Longines ambassador, presented a ladies’ watch from the Longines Saint-Imier Collection to winner Carolyn Coe, who was selected by fasjion spotters at Meydan.
The 38-year-old and hubby Abhishek Bachchan welcomed their first child, a daughter, in November 2011. Ash reportedly flew into Dubai earlier on the day of the Dubai World Cup with the four-month-old baby (no confirmation from the Bachchans yet that she's named Aaradhya) and her nanny. It's the first overseas trip for Ash's little one!
Aishwarya's mother, Vrinda, is also believed to have accompanied her, though Abhi was not part of the group because of work commitments in India.
