Madhuri-Anil to work together again?
The duo, it is being said, were not on talking terms for the last one year
If the rumours are to be believed, then it seems that Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Anil Kapoor have decided to put their differences behind them and be friends again.
According to a source, the stars who was a hit pair in the late '80s and '90s with BO scorchers such as ‘Tezaab,’ ‘Ram Lakhan’ and ‘Beta’ haven’t exactly been on great terms for over a year, ever since Madhuri refused to play Sonam Kapoor’s mother in Anil’s Indian version of the H’wood flick ‘Freaky Friday’, starring Lindsay Lohan and Jame Lee Curtis.
But now it seems ace filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra has decided to step in and broker peace. A tabloid reports that he called up the actors and asked them to bury the hatchet. Vidhu, apparently wants the stars to walk the red carpet for a very special occasion - the screening of his films to mark his 30th year in the industry.One film that the director wants to showcase is the 1989-release 'Parinda', which starred Madhuri and Anil when they were at the peak of their careers.
Moreover, Vidhu also intervened because he thought Anil and Madhuri were being too serious about a trivial issue.
Fans would definitely hope that the most rocking on-screen couple of the 80s would sizzle on screen once again.
