Is Kangna Salman Rushdie’s new muse?
The author and the actress hit it off together at a recent event
Guess who has taken a fancy to the gorgeous Kangna Ranaut? It's none other than acclaimed Booker-prize winning author Salman Rushdie! According to reports, the two met recently at an event where a debate was being held. Kangna was expected to deliver a speech at the venue. However, the 'Fashion' actress was extremely nervous about it as she suffers from stage fright and isn't exactly comfortable in English either. Nevertheless, she mustered courage and stunned everyone with her witty take on the topic 'Do stars need to be good actors'?
Later in the day, she interacted with Salman at a party held in connection with the event and they hit it off well. Rumours are also rife that the writer wanted to rope Kangna in for the screen adaptation of his famous 'Midnight's Children which is being directed by Deepa Mehta. Whether this little episode actually translates into an international movie for her remains to be seen but Kangna was heard raving about him.
The India-born writer who has been married four times including once with supermodel Padma Lakshmi has always had an eye for beautiful woman. A few years ago it was reported that he was quite taken in by Riya Sen at a party and had bonded with her. Will it be Kangna's turn next?
