Beti B finally has a name!
Abhi-Ash name their angel Aaradhdya, meaning 'the first one' in Sanskrit
She became the talk of the town when she was born on November 16, 2011, but no one had seen her or known her name for the last four months. She was simply referred to as Beti B. But now Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter and Aishwarya and Abhishek's daughter's name has been announced - the little one will be called Aaradhya.
Aaradhya is a name derived from a Sanskrit phrase which means 'the first one' or someone who is worth worshipping.
A few weeks ago it was said that Beti B had been named Abhilasha. Author Shobhaa De had even tweeted about it. But Big B had quickly refuted the rumours.
The Bachchans have been extremely guarded about the newest member to the family. During Aishwarya's delivery, there was an embargo on the media and so far no one has seen the baby's picture too.
Now that the name has been announced will Big B tweet a picture of his granddaughter as well?
