Bipasha Basu reaches out to her family
The actress has bought a luxurious house for her parents
After her break-up with John Abraham, it appears Bipasha Basu has rediscovered her ties with her family and is bonding with them in a big way
The Bengali beauty has apparently bought her parents a spacious three-bedroom apartment in Bandra so that they could live close to her and help her through tough times. Bipasha’s elder sister Bidisha has also moved in the same vicinity.
Reports say that the plush apartment which is just five minutes away from Bips’ present house has its interiors designed by Ehsaan Qureshi and Rajiv Acharya.
When Bips was asked as to why she wanted to live closer to her family she stated that she had been living on her own since she had turned 16 and that this was a good way for to bond with her family. She added that her businessman father flew in and out of Mumbai a lot so having a home closer to hers made it convenient for him too.
Incidentally, this is the second home Bipasha has gifted her parents. In 2005, the Basu family first shifted from Kolkata to Mumbai because Bips’ younger sister Bijoyeta wanted to study in the city. At the time, the actress surprised her parents by buying an expensive, fully furnished flat in the Juhu-Versova area.
With all the houses she is buying the Bengali actress truly epitomises the term 'hot property'!
