Fans gift him a heavenly body on his birthday
If a star’s value is to be judged purely on the basis of the presents his fans gift him, then Shahid Kapoor must surely be the most popular actor in Bollywood. The actor, who went to Goa with a bunch of friends to celebrate his 31st birthday on February 25 has been gifted a star by his dedicated fans!
A source close to the actor told a tabloid that when Shahid returned from Goa he was surprised to see this unique gift for him. The official letter from the company and a certificate claiming that the star is now named Shahid was delivered to him.
The star now named after Shahid is located in the Orion constellation. The star was booked by his fans through the official website ‘starfoundation.net’. Needless to say Shahid was overwhelmed by this gesture. He also sports a bracelet gifted to him by his fans.
Earlier, a lunar crater in the moon's 'sea of tranquility' was christened after Shah Rukh Khan in 2010.
What next we wonder! A moon named Ranbir?
