Vidya’s stalker held
The man used to follow her on the sets and even made his way to her apartment
Vidya Balan’s fan base has increased ten fold after her recent success. But the actress had a scare when the fan following turned nasty! Recently, she was stalked by a man who would not only follow her to the sets but also found his way to her apartment.
Reports say that the stalker, a young man in his late 20s or early 30s, had been harassing the actress for a long time. He used to be there on her sets as well as in her building and one day, the actress unknowingly even greeted him.
Last week, the stalker managed to go up to her flat though thankfully Vidya wasn’t at home then. When the actress came to know of it later, she felt something was amiss and asked the security guards of her building to keep a watch for the guy. The man returned once again after a while though this time, the guards alerted the cops who took him away.
However, the police didn’t press charges and let him off with a warning.
