Terra Firma Steakhouse

Terra Firma Steakhouse was quite a refreshing find! My date and I decided to sit on the outdoor terrace and soak in the lovely view of the Festival City Marina. The warm and friendly staff led us to our table and I was pleasantly surprised to see they were serving shisha too, which was a nice touch!

We were quite fascinated when our waiter arrived with the menu on an iPad– definitely very unique! Everything seemed so delish on the menu that it took us a while to decide on our appetisers. My date and I decided to start with the shrimp cocktail which was served in a marie rose sauce with iceberg lettuce and lemon, followed by baked goat’s cheese with walnut and berry compote which was divine and finally the pan seared foie gras served with broad beans and wild mushroom.

It was now time for our mains and we couldn’t wait to sink our teeth into some yummy steak! We were asked to select our steak knives from what looked like a weapons rack. I chose one that was made of mother-of-pearl one and my date went for a wooden and masculine one. Our mains were served in style as our bone-in rib eye for two was carved at our table. We were offered a selection of salts to go with our steak and my favourite was Smoked Viking which went beautifully with my medium-rare rib eye steak. Our sides of chunky chips, onion rings and roasted cherry tomatoes really hit the spot too!

We really didn’t have any room left after such a scrumptious meal but we weren’t about to say no to the baked American cheesecake which was served with assorted berries and the warm flourless chocolate and hazelnut cake which was gooey and moist in the centre. With such outstanding quality and service, Terra Firma is definitely a steakhouse we will be revisiting very soon!
