Top Table: Karma Kafe
Succulent dishes, impeccable service and gorgeous views await you!
Karma Kafé could easily be one of the hippest restaurant-lounges in Dubai. After setting foot into the restaurant, you are greeted with its dark, warm wood tones, contrasted by the red glowing walls and opulent drapes. You certainly won’t miss the big Buddha statue – after all, Karma Kafé is the brain child of Raymond Visan, founder of Buddha Bar. The best part of Karma Kafé is the amazing outdoor space which offers breathtaking views of the Burj Lake, the Dubai Fountain, and the Dubai Mall.
Now onto what really matters... the food! Guests are spoiled for choice as there is an immense range of Asian food combined with some international and Californian dishes too. Start your meal with a delicious assortment of dumplings with distinct flavours. Move onto the moist and succulent crab cakes and the Kobe beef sliders which are made with perfectly medium-rare patties. They will leave you more than content until your next course.
Be a bit more adventurous with your meal and opt for the angry chicken, which is roasted to perfection and served with a delicious and generous helping of creamy chilli sauce. The cherry salmon fillet which is marinated in a sweet cherry sauce is not to be missed as it is a signature dish at Karma Kafé. Of course, you can never go wrong with the delish steamed black cod, crunchy rock shrimp and the Mongolian beef.
The dessert menu has something to satisfy every sweet tooth! The sinfully rich chocolate and coffee parfait, the trio of crème brûlée – vanilla, coconut and chocolate and the warm centre chocolate cake will not leave you disappointed.
The service is impeccable and you can be rest assured you will be well taken care of. While your experience at Karma Kafé may not be a cheap one, it will most certainly be a very memorable one!
