Shilpa Shetty heats up debutant’s music video
Plus, why she’s really impressed with ‘rockstar’ Romy Shay
Shilpa Shetty broke many a Bollywood fan’s heart when she announced that she would be drastically cutting down on work to focus on her marriage. But we’re happy to tell you that the actress is making time for projects that excite her – the latest of which is London-based Romy Shay’s debut music video.
Shilpa was really impressed by Romy (a Rishi Rich discovery) when she heard his song for the first time at a family gathering and decided that she wanted to get involved. This will be her first appearance in such a project in the UK after four years.
Shilpa said about her role in the video, “I love the track and that is why I decided to be a part of it. What excites me the most is that it has been sung by Romy Shay who is extremely talented and hard working and I’ve said this before - Romy’s the rockstar... I’m the Bollywood star and Rishi Rich is the star maker! It’s a star endeavour.”
The music video will be produced and directed by Andy Morahan (who has worked with Michael Jackson, George Michael and Guns N' Roses) while Dolce & Gabbana will style up the project with their designs.
