Actor refuses offer to host a chat show

Who says only senior actors are approached to host TV shows? A leading TV channel had approached Ranbir Kapoor to host a chat show and also offered him big bucks for the assignment. However, Rishi and Neetu's son said no as he wants to concentrate on films only.

"The concept of the show was a very peppy one and hence a young host was required. Moreover, the producers were keen on a big star and Ranbir fitted the bill," says a source from the TV industry.

"Rishi did give the idea some thought for a few days before beta Ranbir declined the offer. The money was really tempting. However, it's too early for Ranbir to jump onto television," adds the source.
