Synopsis:
Mausam follows the story of Harinder Singh (Shahid), an air force pilot, and his lady love Aayat (Sonam). It shows the different seasons of their love and how they transcend time and places.

Trivia:
- Rumor has it that Katrina Kaif was initially approached by Pankaj Kapoor for Sonam’s role in the movie.
- Shahid Kapoor takes pride in being the only hero to fly a multirole jetfighter aircraft, an F-16, as preparation for this role in the movie.
- Shahid will be seen sporting a moustache for the first time ever in his Bollywood career.
- Shahid fell off a giant wheel while shooting for the film. He was rushed to hospital and advised bed rest, which interrupted the shooting schedule.
