It was Siddartha Tytler's debut collection for Summer/Resort 2011 at Lakmé Fashion Week, and it's safe to say, he made his mark. Metalosophy was steeped in metallic brilliance with sensuous jersey, sexy silk spandex and luxurious Duchess satin. The grey, black white, silver and gold colours translated into stunning dresses, gowns, tops, jackets, kaftans, minis and shirts.

The detailing - sheeting, crystals and appliqués - made for fun fusion and we really were struck by the tiny gold lamé shorts, dazzling crystal corsets and wide lapel belted metallic coat dresses. The digital prints on grey chiffon were a cool touch too! Very global glam!
