After tremendous success at the box office, actor Saif Ali Khan has escalated his fees to the skies. Recently, he asked Farhan Akhtar for an amount that shocked the director. After he recovered, Farhan politely told Saif that he would look for another actor.

According to sources Saif asked for Rs 20 crores for doing Voice From The Sky, which the director thought was a bit too much. Now the search is on for another actor.

When contacted, Farhan confirmed that Saif is not doing Voice From The Sky. The money angle didn't work out, he said.

Ritesh Siddhwani, the producer of the film, said such things are common and lots of things change in the course of finalising the casting of a film. Sometimes dates don't work out, sometimes money doesn't work out. "We are in talks with some actors and very soon we will finalise the lead man," he said.

Voice From The Sky is very close to Farhan's heart. He began scripting it right after Dil Chahta Hai. Farhan was very kicked about working with Saif. He had earlier admitted that he was really looking forward to working with Saif after Dil Chahta Hai.

But Saif's decision to ask for an exorbitant fee from Farhan comes as a surprise since it was Farhan's film that was a turning point in Saif's career! But what can Farhan do when Saif's Dil Chahta Hai Money?
