People had to approach dad Salim Khan to persuade his star son for interviews and Salman was the last person to be seen promoting a film. But in the last couple of years, all that has changed dramatically. Sallu is not only ready with quotable quotes but is going all out to promote his films with different marketing tactics. Marketing tactic
If Aamir was going around India in disguise to promote 3 Idiots, Salman also threw a surprise on the entire crowd at the Mahalaxmi Golf Course in Mumbai when he ran a race and beat six other jockeys to win the trophy. Umm…horse riding (which he has done aplenty in Veer) definitely goes great with Salman’s macho image. And anyway, what better way to promote a film where he is playing a warrior?! Aamir, take note.

Right bite
Salman is not a person who is afraid of controversies, so a pre-release Salman interview is definitely more interesting than an Aamir Interview, where he is most often measured and diplomatic. Sometimes bordering on the boring! YAWN!

Reaching out
