The Week's Best Dressed?
Be it a sari, a gown or a formal suit – B’wood divas do justice to all three
This week’s judge: Vibha Dania - fashion consultant and masala!’s very own stylist
Deepika Padukone
Vibha says: Love the sari and the coral tones on Deepika. However, I feel a a heavier pair of earrings and clutch would have done more magic than the chunky bracelet.
Masala! says: After Rani Mukherji and Vidya Balan, here is another woman who can wear and carry off a sari with dignity and elan. However it really would be nice to see her wear some more jewellery when she is wearing ethnic.
Sushmita Sen
Vibha says: Sushmita looks fab in this gorgeous black embellished gown. Her make-up and hair are perfect.
Masala! says: It was her day and she was having fun – and it shows. She is postively glowing! But while the gown is good, it’s no jaw-dropper either. Wish she’d check out Donna Karan’s 2010 Modern Icons collection and opt for something different from her usual animal print or all-black look.
Raageshwari
Vibha says: She looks chic and classy, however, it would have been nice to see a longer hemline for her trousers and a pair of pumps or peep-toes instead of the sandals.
Masala! says: Raageshwari chucks the pastels and goes all-black on us and boy, do we like it. Like Vibha says, she could have opted for a different pair of heels – we think , even killer glads would have done the trick – but such a great look otherwise.
