Katrina Kaif’s romance with Salman took off almost at the same time as her entry into T’Town with Boom (2003). Although both never acknowledged the affair, except for the time they promoted their film Yuvvraj together, Katrina was very much made to feel a part of the Khan family. But Katrina also had a whirlwind romance with John Abraham during the making of New York, which fizzled out once the film was canned. Then came Ranbir, who promptly dropped his girlfriend-of-two-years, Deepika. The grapevine is abuzz about the two being an item, although sources close to Ranbir keep insisting that they are not even in touch.

THE TWIST: Strangely Salman Khan, who is extremely possessive about his girlfriends (read: Aishwarya Rai), has not reacted at all. Again, he has also not been spotted with Kat recently. He even had a stag party for his birthday! Meanwhile, Kat, who was supposed to be in London with her family to bring in 2010, was actually in New York – where Ranbir is shooting! And apparently Ranbir’s mum Neetu Singh, who never got along with Deepika, has hit it off with Katrina big time. She’s said, “She is an extremely well-mannered girl.” Hmm… very interesting!

Break-up mein twist...

Since Priyanka Chopra, or for that matter Shahid Kapoor, has never spoken about their relationship, no one really knows what’s up. But post Kaminey, they have never been spotted together and everyone was talking about how Priyanka was nursing a broken heart. Shahid even went off for a break to Goa at the end of the year with his childhood (men) friends while Priyanka spent NYE with family.

THE TWIST: The two were spotted in Bangkok having coffee. They were staying at the same hotel while shooting for different films. Sources say Shahid-Priyanka looked very happy together whenever they met. They must have thought that Bangkok will provide them with some anonymity, but then how can we miss two celeb love birds...?

Dosti mein twist...

While SRK has always been Farah’s mentor, the director has also given the star two of his big hits – OSO and Main Hoon Na. They would always be together, discussing scripts, working on films and partying at each other’s houses. In fact, SRK practised his KBC act on K-Jo and Farah! But Shah Rukh never got along with Farah’s husband Shirish and even turned down a role in his film Joker.

THE TWIST: Although Farah claims there is nothing wrong between her and SRK, we noticed that the actor was conspicuous by his absence at her Triumph Lingerie show. Of course, Akshay Kumar, who has been signed by Farah-Shirish for their film Tees Maar Khan, was very much there. Shirish said, “Tees Maar Khan’s story was written by me, keeping Akshay Kumar in mind. Initially, I was supposed to direct the film, but since it’s our first home production, Farah and I decided that the film will be produced by me and she will direct it.”

So Farah, who had always said she’d NEVER do a film without SRK, finally decided to support hubby Shirish. Only natural. Isn’t it?

Dushmani mein twist...

No one really expected the usually sophisticated Aamir Khan to blog about a dog named Shah Rukh! He wrote: “Shah Rukh is licking my leg while I am writing this and I really need to give him a bath since he is so smelly.” Of course, SRK reacted strongly and their relationship hit an all-time low. Then the two megastars surprised everyone by speaking as one during the multiplex strike last year. SRK followed up by attending the premiere of 3 Idiots and declaring, ‘We are friends!’

THE TWIST: Aamir Khan has got rid of Shah Rukh. Literally! The dog actually belonged to the caretaker of his Panchgani home, who has since moved on. The man was a huge SRK fan and that’s why named his dog after the star. But he later changed his named to Shahki!
