Ranbir Kapoor flew into Dubai to attend the DIFF premiere of Yash Raj Films’ Rocket Singh – Salesman Of The Year. Of course, he also came to the grand Masala! Lifestyle Awards ceremony to personally collect his award of Best Bollywood Personality – Male. Masala! caught up with him for a one-on-one just the day before.

You have topped the www.masala.com Best Bollywood Personality – Male poll. How does it feel?

It feels great and I would definitely attribute this popularity to the good year that I have had [he says with a twinkle and a wide smile].

As clichéd as it may sound, it is comfort and not giving a damn about what people think.

Who handles your styling for you?

I put together everything myself because I am fond of clothes. I may not wear the best things but I am aware of what is in trend and I find trend tracking fun.

Considering you’re stylish and good looking, what do you think is your best feature?

Nothing! I don’t like anything about myself!

Well then, from everything you don’t like, what is your worst feature?

I don’t like my nose, my hands, my physique... in short, I don’t like everything!

Who do you think is the sexiest man in Bollywood?

Well it is not a just a man. It is men – Shimit Amin and Jaideep Sahni. Considering the work they have given us is so sexy, it means the people behind it are sexy individuals too.

Who would you consider the sexiest woman in India right now?

Well right now I find Chitrangada Singh quite sexy. So yes, she is the sexiest one!

How is Konkona different from Katrina and Kat from Shehzahn?

Konkana’s I-don’t-give-a-damn-attitude sets her apart from Katrina and also she is one of the finest talents we have. Katrina, on the other hand, is extremely hard working and full of positive energy. Shehzahn’s extremely well prepared.

Before: Rumours about my family not liking Deepika are very harmful to the girl’s family.
After: I want to talk only about my professional life and definitely not about my personal life.

Before: My parents just love Deepika and she is a part of my family.
After: I am a commitment phobe and I need my own space.

Before: Deepika and I are not seen together because we are extremely busy with our careers and hardly get to meet.
After: I am extremely busy with my career and have no time for anything.
