Is Himesh making his film a hit?
Actor-musician shoots down allegations
If reports are to be believed, Himesh Reshammiya and Ravi Agarwal, producer of the movie “Radio”, are doing bulk booking of the tickets everyday just to show that the movie is a box-office hit with a huge collection.
The fact apparently came out in the open when despite of the show being houseful at the counter, there were just a handful of people in the theatre.
The manager of a leading multiplex in Mumbai confirmed the news and said that there was block booking in practically every show, which raised suspicion. There were some people associated with Himesh and the producer who used to come for the block booking.
Rubbishing the allegations, Himesh said that they are all baseless. He said that the film has already recovered its cost and a few tickets here and there will not make any impact on the film’s success.
He also said that the film is doing well with the audience and hence there is no need to manipulate any theatre collections.
